Do Ford Vehicles have brake problems? Ford Brakes are failing too soon

I've started this website, because of my concerns of a possible design flaw in the Ford Explorer Braking System. I personally feel they engineered Ford Brakes to be faulty. I am looking to hear from other Ford consumers who are also having brake problems with their Ford vehicle, not just the Ford Explorer Brakes. I have heard similar stories from Ford Ranger and Ford F150 owners. With enough consumer complaints, maybe Ford will look real hard at their design. The brakes are failing to early. Another problem I have had is my transmission failed at 49000 miles and had to be replaced. I discuss this further in the user forum.

July 2006 - I recently went to go trade in my 2000 Ford Explorer for a new Toyota Highlander, but to my dismay the Toyota dealer offered very little for a trade-in value. So I drove away in my Explorer. Read more in the forum.
